An emergency maintenance service is scheduled for November 20, 2024, at 01:00 UTC to implement a fix for the incident that occurred on November 15, 2024 in AWS us-east-1, https://status.astra.datastax.com/incidents/y88w33mlm5r2. This update will focus solely on a peripheral component of Astra, which is responsible for preventing any lingering infrastructure or unresponsive services. The fix will applied to AWS us-east-1, AWS us-west-2, and GCP us-east1.

There is no expected impact on database traffic during this maintenance, and no actions are required from users.
